HOW BADLY I WISH...

The faint memories of yours
that still live inside my heart,
And how beautifully it cures
And tears the pain apart.

"Write to me whenever you need."
Those words still resonate in my soul,
And how badly I wish to bleed-
into the paper to get your console.

The vague hallucinations of your love
That I see upon closing my eyes
Are the only reasons to live, my beloved!
And how soothingly the time flies.

The calming voice of your words
that still echoes in my dreams
As the faint line slowly gets blurred
And how real the imagination seems...

And yet,
 how badly I wish...

    I love your poems. They seem to be the poetic diary of a lonely soul. Almost makes me want to give the person a hug.

BLOOD, SWEAT & TEARS

She was smudged in blood; Yet, the only thing she heard- was her dear child's cries & continued to wipe the tears off his eyes. Oh! How she was scented in sweat! Yet, her children had rosy cheeks And that beautiful sobriquet that she thought of for 36 weeks. And the way she always hid her tears when she spent the night with her only dears They said-"You deserve not this, but diamonds" & She replied-"I'd rather die for my children." And that's how even the poem forgets to rhyme when the world tries to bargain a mother's chime...                                                               ~Taekita369
