THE QUEEN AND THE PRINCE
She was the queen of forest,
He was the prince of castle,
Her life- simple and best,
Oh! A victory in another battle.
She wore a crown of leaves,
He was dressed in diamonds and golds,
A rock for a throne that she heaves,
And another letter that he unfolds.
She talks with the birds and flies,
He lives for his people's justice,
And for a heart– alone she cries,
His eyes search for somethin' they miss...

Amazing poetry. I suppose you are the queen here?
ReplyDeleteAin't we all are supposed to be queens in our own world ..?
DeleteWho knows, someday you might end up being the queen of someone else's world too...
